Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Visual Designer to support a technology company working across retail, e-commerce, and digital advertising.

This is a part-time, on-demand contract project focused on creating customized visual materials for sales presentations and digital publishing environments.

You’ll work primarily in Figma, adapting existing templates and visual assets to match the branding and layouts of different online publications and media platforms.

This is not a UI/UX or Product Design role. The work is focused on visual execution, brand adaptation, layout, and digital mockups.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt existing Figma templates to match the visual identity and layout of different online newspapers, magazines, and media platforms.

  • Review prospect websites to identify key visual elements such as typography, colors, imagery, spacing, and overall composition.

  • Create high-fidelity digital mockups that demonstrate how branded content or advertising experiences could appear within a publication.

  • Update typography, color palettes, layouts, and visual framing across pitch materials and presentation assets.

  • Prepare visual assets and video frames used in customized sales presentations.

  • Make occasional updates to presentation decks, digital collateral, and other visual materials as needed.

  • Work closely with the sales and production teams to deliver polished materials within tight turnaround times.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Figma and strong knowledge of its layout and design tools.

  • Strong visual design skills, particularly in layout, typography, composition, and color.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately adapt visual assets to different brand identities.

  • Experience creating digital marketing, visual, presentation, or branded content.

  • Ability to work independently and move quickly through short, project-based assignments.

  • Strong ability to interpret an existing visual direction and translate it into polished, consistent assets.

  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate clearly in a professional environment.

  • Based in Latin America (LATAM).

  • Availability to work part-time (about 20h/week).

Nice to have

  • Experience working with online publications, digital advertising, editorial design, marketing, or media brands.

  • Basic knowledge of motion design or animation, particularly for video frames, GIFs, or simple digital previews.

  • Familiarity with digital publishing environments, advertising formats, or editorial website layouts.

  • Experience with Figma Auto Layout, components, variants, and shared libraries.

  • Experience working with high-volume visual adaptation or production workflows.
