What are you going to do?

You will have the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking and growth-oriented environment, at an enterprise software platform that provides solutions for cannabis dispensaries. Their platform includes point of sale, inventory management, compliance, cashless payments, and eCommerce capabilities.

Occupy a unique position in the market as a Data Engineer and join our team and help support our mission to bring real-time decision-making to the cannabis industry. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with team members to build and maintain our data infrastructure, providing essential support in developing analytics tools, reporting capabilities, and integrations that enable retail operators to thrive 

  • Design and implement scalable, efficient data solutions tailored to our evolving needs.
  • Develop and sustain distributed data systems, ensuring their performance, security, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with our architecture guild to lead the design and implementation of our cloud warehousing needs, prioritizing AWS services.
  • Implement and optimize ETL processes to seamlessly integrate data.
  • Utilize and optimize Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to grasp data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • Provide guidance and foster growth opportunities for junior engineering staff.

What will help you succeed

  • 5+ years of Proven Expertise and Demonstrated success in a data-intensive role.
  • Significant hands-on experience with AWS, executing ETL processes, managing cost optimization, and navigating cloud infrastructure.
  • With some background in data and user governance, you are not scared of an ACL.
  • Ability to lead junior engineers and contribute actively to the engineering lifecycle.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills coupled with practical communication abilities.
